Configuring the election poll settings allow you to scale the results by a different metric than number of votes or percentage. This feature is mostly relevant in election polls, in which there is a more complex calculation to define if a candidate is elected or how many seats a party gets in the elections.
Follow these steps to configure the feature:
1) From the “Create Poll” form, expand the “Advanced Settings” menu
2) Select the “Election poll settings” check box
3) Configure the total number of points being assigned and the label to be used. So for example if there is a parliament voting on 120 mandates, you would fill in that number 120 and change the label to be mandates.
4) If there is a minimum percentage of votes required to get a point (or seat, for example), set the cliff check box and set the minimum percentage required.
